For the first game at the Oval I meet up with cousin David Livett. His personality and physical attributes are larger than life.
We enjoy several pints and many more blows to the boundary by the West Indies who win quite easily. We retire to the pub in Dulwich and join Carol for several more pints and a late supper – a good evening.
Did all the same stuff again the next evening except this time in the company of my cousin Steve Stroud. He looks very fit and well and we have a great evening – England’s turn to win this time!
Steve and I move on to the pub in Dulwich and have a thoroughly enjoyable evening with a good supper and more pints.
