President Bush today has ordered some 20,000 extra troops to Iraq, as part of a new strategy for tackling the conflict and a study of Irish bank notes has found traces of cocaine on every single note examined.
Perhaps the “peace” talks in Ireland are because of, rather than despite the use of opiates. Perhaps the new strategy is for the troops to harvest the crops in Afghanistan and distribute to the politicians with a view to holding “peace” talks!
I meet CT in café for our constitutional coffee and then we go to the shop, “Marlboro Classics” for a pair of jeans that are in the sale, how cheap I am to run! Head back to the  apartment, quickly pack using me new case from Lancel and then take metro line 14 from St Lazare to Gare de Lyon. The metro takes 10 minutes if that and yet again confirms how well located the apartment is.
After a swift but half decent lunch at the station I catch the 13.00 train to Lausanne. It’s a clear day, the carriage is empty and the journey is a good one.
