Apple has announced the launch of a new touch screen phone that combines the iPod with a mobile phone. Will not be available in Europe until the end of 2007. Looks pretty goAod!
Carol wakes up at 7.30 am and is immediately receiving birthday greetings text messages and the like. I am afraid that I am still bleary eyed and looking for more beauty sleep!
CT goes off to the café for coffee and I surface around 9.15 a.m. I arrive at the café and present my birthday card to her. It is an absolutely stunning handmade card by the great Yvonne in Birmingham. The first “To my wife”, it has a great quirky verse and some nice words and the whole design is very elegant.
For lunch we visit the Pot au Feu and have a really warming hot consommé soup followed by the traditional dish and the obligatory couple of glasses of red. A cracking lunch that warms the cockles of your heart plus other extremities!
We shop at Lancel, the place in Paris for bags and luggage. I buy a travelling case within the sale, Carol gets matching cases which of course are red, very swish and of course not in the sale!
Early evening we have drinks in the Cricketer followed by a very good curry – oh how French we are???
