Thurs 24th, travelled by train from Geneva to Narbonne via Montpelier to meet up with Mike Marais. Stayed in Gruissan Plage - vast beach on the Mediterranean. Mike's had some land for 10 years and only now is starting to build. Met with the architect and builders who agreed the final approach for laying the foundations, this will start in October. Had three good days just hanging around eating, drinking and taking the sun. Had a great time with Gruissan Rugby club and also watched Narboone surprisingly beat Biarittz on saturday evening in glorious sunshine!   more »

Weds arrived in Dulwich, glorious sunshine, had several pints with Keith at the Dog. Thurs went to test match with Jack; had a great day, long chats about his future, good craic and he even bought me a pint! Fri - second day of the test with Keith - had another good day. Sat; zoomed off to Hastings to see Kim. After Sunday lunch cooked by Jim returned to Dulwich. Mon; after a visit to the asthma clinic had a super lunch with Jack. Tues; Test drove the Porsche Boxster around London, met up with Norman for a tax chat and then had dinner with John O'Roarke at a great Lebanese restaurant - discussed his new business venture, sounds great! Weds returned to Lausanne.   more »

Test drove the Porsche Boxster today. Picked the car up at 11.00, drove to the apartment to see if the car fits in to the garage - hoorah it does! Then drove to Pully to to have lunch with Carol in Pully - she really likes the car so I feel an order going in!   more »
