Tues 6th June - went to the Doctors to register myself - seems a nice enough fellow and speaks OK english (thank goodness); returned on Friday to have a MOT - blood taken and ECG's and the works. In between the doc visits, discovered a small spa town Yverdon les bains which has a state of the art thermal swimming complex and a very pretty medival town square with cafes and shops! May 21st arrived in Cyprus, the Annasa hotel. Greeted by all the staff like long lost friends (our fourth visit?). Had just a fantastic 14 days; me - swimming first thing every morning in the infinity pool whilst Carol went to the gym and oddly really enjoyed a brilliant workout; breakfast alfresco and then sunbathing whilst learning elementary french from the iPod (BBC Podcast) pour moi and Carol reading for Britian - we both just had a great holiday.   more »
