The creation and use of this Blog is to act as a journal for me.
Starting a new phase of my life seems an ideal opportunity to start a journal as well as learn how to “Blog”!
The new phase referred to being my retirement from work and my move to Lausanne, Switzerland, where I will be resident for the foreseeable future.
The planning for the move started in 2003 and by way of input in November 2004 my darling Carol gave me several books for my birthday, each was customised with a special label “Boring Billy – Limited Edition” and inscribed “In preparation for Billy’s Big Adventure!”.
