Carol gives me lots of presents, I open my cards and then go and have my first ever facial massage just around the corner in the village. Lunch at the La Caprice in London – great atmosphere, we sit at the bar and eat and sup champagne, terrific! Whilst waiting to collect CT’s wedding shoes from Jimmy Choe at Bond street we have a Guinness in Mulligan’s bar (an old haunt of Smithwick's) – an excellent pint! Return home early evening.
